here's a fresh blog entry...

I was kinda busy the past couple of weeks...though I can't qualify how much since the days just plain went, zooming right through the door without much of a backward glance. Sigh. No matter how mundane the events that pass in and out of my crappy life, I still manage to get the full roller coaster ride, complete with the breathtaking loops, scary drops and wild turns (I'm exaggerating a bit here, so sue me! ^_^ ). I always have trouble answering when people ask me the "wazzup?" question. I automatically say "nothing" which is a cop out answer but it's easier than actually going through the trouble of explaining my life to other people. Do I tell them that my cat peed on my leg to mark me as as territory? Or that SM raised their prices on my cat's brand of cat food that's why I'm buying from a chickenfeed dealer these days? Or that I had another fight with my mom simply because I woke up early and she was insane enough to forget to tread lightly or risk being scathed? Or what about my dreaded visit back to a funeral home from which I got an idea for a story?

I shiver at the thought that fate would suddenly take a turn and decide to get exciting. Not that I'm complaining...last time I did THAT somebody died. The very next day in fact. No kidding.

To be safe, let's just say that I was busy job hunting these past few weeks. And I did take an exam last tuesday for one of the companies that was unfortunate enough to get an application from me. How did I do? Won't be hearing from them again, that's for sure. The exam had trigo problems!!! Sheez! I wanted to bolt out the door the minute I read them. A modicum of professionalism asserted itself in time so I was able to overcome my rising terror (usually triggered by math exams) to sit there and pretend to work calmly on the exam. That'll teach me to think twice about applying for any autocad job.

At least now I know better. =/

I notice that this blog is getting boringly wordy. Time to get on my online quiz frenzy again, I guess. The problem is I'm too lazy to fix them up when they fuck up my layout. Sigh.

Another facelift on this page is in the works. Nothing major. Will probably just take out some graphics since they don't seem to appear anymore. Plus, i have to add ely's blog on my links. ^_^

It's been a year since the 9-11 disaster, am pushing my apathetic self for once to at least light a candle.
