Can't believe I had to go to work the day after Christmas...sheez, no fair! Where's school when you need it??! p_p There was one good thing that happened today that made up for the post xmas hassle tho...I got 2 pages off from a 1997 DC Vertigo Calendar! (put big grin here) An officemate was giving them away so i picked a poster of Death and Raine. I'll see if I can get the Dream poster later...had to give way till the others come back or I might end up taking the whole thing home ^_^

December 24, 9p.m.
This has not been a very good vacation...because there is NO LOUSY VACATION. I go back to work on Thursday p_p Not only is this a bloody Christmas, it is a snotty one as well. Let me change that to asthmatic since I have this niggling suspicion that my asthma from way back 20 years ago is recurring. Geez! I haven't felt this miserable since I had chicken pox!

So what am I doing in front of the computer when I'm almost dying from this bout of sickness? There's nothing like a good round of ranting and raving to make me feel better...it won't make the sickness go away but I do get to share my misery to those unfortunate enough to visit my blog.

No christmas cheer left, I guess. ~_~ Ooooh, there is (or is it are?...bugger!)some left. I just remembered that I wasn't able to contribute a drop of liquor at the GRAIL party so I'm volunteering to provide the souvenirs for those who attended since I received my 13th month pay already ^_^ Was s'posed to make the bracelet of charms from the lil endless storybook but I figured it would to take me months to find the materials not to mention actually making them. So I found myself a less time consuming trinket to make ^_^ It's hardly an original gift but I made the design myself or rather ripped the design from the internet myself. Teeheehee ^_^

Ok I'm off to play Diablo! Merry Christmas!

10:30 A.M.

Well, it's official...I'm back online again. Whooopeee! Just got home from the company x-mas party which was held in the site in cavite. I'm pooped since I had to sleep at the office in santolan because 2 a.m. is not a sane time to attempt going home considering the area I live in. Really didn't sleep so well for sharing a sofa (despite the availability of other sofas) with an officemate, Tess, who was so scared of sleeping in the office. (The santolan office is, apparently, rich in ghosts. I must admit that the place is a bit creepy...I wouldn't do overtime there alone.)

So here I am at 10 in the morning writing for my near-dead blog, and still disbelieving that I did not win the much coveted 2nd price raffle item...vcd player with speakers Getting that would've solved the problem of my having to save up for one to replace the busted one at home. I knew, I should've rigged the darn thing! Fook =_=

I just remembered that I've only gone to work twice this week and I'm including the X-mas party there already. Talk about being delinquent! Ah! The price of going out and being merry. That's 2 days of work missed to attend the lantern parade (it only was s'posed to be for a day but it stretched to 2 days for obvious reasons). Was worth it though to be amongst friends who were sorely missed, not to mention getting to imbibe on hard liquor after such a long time. Vodka! Yeah.

Funny thing is that I'm somewhat regaining some x-mas cheer that has been markedly absent for a few years. I even patiently sat through a pre-Christmas-party mass yesterday. Later today, I will be braving the yuletide rush do some much delayed shopping. I just wish I would come out of it alive ^_^
