starting the new year with a bang

Christmas seems so far away...a lot has happened in the last week. For one I will be ending the old year and starting the new year with weddings. There are two weddings in the family just attended one this friday and the next would be this monday.

This is one nerve-wracking and skull cracking holiday. Nerve wracking since the holidays are always hectic add to that not one but two weddings with all the balikbayans that come a-visiting. My lola is one of them and am real happy to get to see her again...it's been awhile. She's 93 by the way and her bday is feb29 so you see where we get our "insanity", pagka kulang-kulang in other words. ^_____^

Skull-cracking...I mean that literally in a way. Had a recent trip to the hospital. The short story is I slipped running into a flooded kitchen to turn off a runaway faucet and the end result is 5 stitches in the head and no shampoo for at least a week. My poor head...it's sooooooo itchy dammit, and its just been 4 days. Am thinking of posting pics of the injury but it might gross people out...may be if i post with the warning offensive material. Hmmm...
