The month of May went by without a whisper

Gem & I had our birthday party at home, just a small one with some friends some food and some booze. All I can say is that it was 1 weird party since meralco did not cooperate.

One dark and skewed children's party...spaghetti, cake and icecream mixed with alcohol, candles and foretelling. Had fun nonetheless.

Who came...of course gem and marc was there...took care of most of the cooking; hannah...gorged herself with a marathon of futurama; apwil...one of the first to arrive; ely and her mudslide and betterthansex cake; dell...did free fortunetelling and his usual noise; peloy...brought his fafi and we had a very ecclectic film showing; and gi was also there and took care of the sleeping ^___^

they all stayed overnyt and left them 'partying' to themselves since i came from work and had not slept for more than 24 hours. Actually the first theme for the party was a 'post shift party till you drop birthday celebrations' but since i was the only one left working on night shift, it's not really apt.

speaking of which i will try to last till december, i'm definitely resigning once I get my 13th month pay. The only way i stay beyond that is if i apply for a management position and pass and that is one big IF since i have no intention of applying as of now.

but i'm out of there like a flash when i get fed up and i feel the urge to torch the place. hehehe. it's to everyone's advantage if the december comes first though.

Closing Time

things are not getting better at the office, stress levels are high and tempers are rising...there were already signs

a new bonus scheme (read:no bonus scheme)...absenteeism...inbound complaints...cat fights...nervous breakdowns and crying in the comfort room. This is call center doomsday

it was just a matter of time when things boiled over and now we will be counting the days when all these will blow up in their faces

a batchmate finally caved in. a series of unfortunate events drove her to resign...though yanna will be missed, her friends support her decision

Me, i'm just counting the days and planning my graceful exit till then i will bide my time
