Holloween

Will be taking a vacation leave on monday for the undas and will be missing the holloween party in the office. Sooo...I came to the office in costume today ^___^

No, I haven't gone out of my mind and dressed up in costume all by myself. Today is not the official party for our department but HR is having theirs now so we get two days of costume donning.

So my costume is...what's the easiest costume to find anyway?

Well, I came as Death/Didi...just got into a black outfit and voila. I only needed an ankh so I bought one and luckily enough there was a midnight sale at sm frvw last night so I got a discount.


it would've helped if someone from the office actually recognized the outfit but hey, I'm not complaining (much). I got an excuse to wear a costume and I took it.

Insensitivity

There's a gory video circulating around the office this week. It's MMS so its getting around fast. It's a video of a man getting decapitated in the butchery-texas-chain-saw-massacre-ic way. They said the man was Russian. Terrorists were sawing his head off while he squealed in pain like a baby. I had the foresight and enough sensitivity AND enough allergy to office gossip not to be tempted to watch it. People who did watch it, watched earnestly. It was the after effects that got them. Hard.

What is it that you get out of watching a person's suffering and death? And to watch it like some form of entertainment? And to pass it on so carelessly through fone MMS is disrespectful to the person dying. I hope to the gods that the video is a hoax.
