flickr is busted
this is no fun
Today's shift was another one of those that'll make one think if their sanity is still intact. We had downtimes and systems problems galore...it was fun, half the night was spent goofing around...gossiping and playing games. As bad as the system was some calls did come through and this is one of them....
While it is a receptionists job to transfer calls to the appropriate person and their speed to do such is a quality to be valued in any busy office...haste is another matter. We often get brushed of by getting transferred to answering machines and "somewhere more appropriate" (which usually means anywhere else but here) simply because they must keep the lines open.
I talked to one such receptionist. She was so eager to get rid of me that right after I introduced myself she transferred me to someone else who was equally eager to get me out of her hands.
I ended up talking with the 1st girl again which I didn't know immediately so introduced myself again and asked if we had the company's business name right. The very efficient receptionist replied irritably..."Yes that is the correct business name but you've already called earlier", then hanged up on me.
I wanted to shout at her "Of course I already called, you were the one who transferred me less than a minute ago. Its the same call idiot!"
But of course there's no point talking to dead air. Sigh!
So what does the pic I'm supposed to post here but does not upload because flickr is busted and I had to upload this manually have to do with this? Nothing.
It's just that I finally had the baguio pics developed (buy digicam...buy new digicam...). It seems that I went overboard posing for the pics so there aren't many pics to post on that trip that didn't have my bungisngis face plastered all over. So...I dug up my friendly baul of old pictures and posted some old stuff...from the my first trip to Baguio some 3-4 years ago
