what happened to the 4th Harry Potter movie???!!!
Now that was anticlimactic...after the long wait and all, watching latest intallment of the movie rather burst my bubble. Granted that I slept through some scenes (I watched it after work and after a 2 bottles of beer from an afterwork bday celebration), I didn't miss much and I mean that both ways. I've read the book obviously and while some shortcuts from the book are forgivable there was just too many of them that the movie seems rushed and without direction. I wasn't too happy with the cinematography either, Harry's world is a magical place, the viewers should be awed by it. Instead it came out quite dingy and gritty, I don't know maybe the cinema I watched it on was at fault...the screen was too small and the seats were atrocious (not that they have anything to do with the movie's visuals). The colors weren't that crisp, they were outright boring. Am willing to give it a 2nd chance, I'll find a better cinema just to check if it looks better elsewhere...the theaters in smf are ok, no need to go to gateway and waste money.

It just dawned on me that it really is almost Christmas. Time for Kris Kringle and whatnots. I was asked what I wanted for Christmas and I didn't have a ready answer. Well I do want a new fone, an ipod, a new pc monitor (coz this one's nearly busted), a digicam, a mouse that's not temperamental, a radio with tape deck and mp3/cd player...but those things I have to buy for myself they're not the type that someone gets for christmas, especially not for office kris kringle.
So I have to go for the usual...a book or a cd. Sigh, I think I better do some window shopping later.
